The primary function of the light guide bundles in the BF-1TQ290 is to transmit illumination light (Xenon/LED) from the compatible light source (e.g., Olympus CLV-290SL) down to the distal tip of the endoscope.

► Features

• Efficiently transmits the high-intensity illumination light (broad-spectrum, NBI-filtered) from the external light source to the distal tip of the bronchoscope.
• Transmits the filtered light used for NBI. The light source (CLV-290SL/CLV-290) has a rotating filter wheel that selectively passes blue and green light.
• The fiber bundle is designed to be highly durable and flexible within the insertion tube to withstand repeated bending, insertion, and sterilization cycles without significant light loss (attenuation).
